The edge is where ambiguity lives. The hard-to-measure, easy-to-overlook instincts. Thank you for naming that. Letting go of what AI does better isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of better questions.

Daria, your comment really landed with me.

“The edge is where ambiguity lives.”

You captured the heart of the essay better than I did. :)

I especially loved how you framed letting go of what AI does better as a beginning, not an end.

Really appreciate you taking the time to reflect it back so clearly.

What you're discussing here, Dee, is precisely why I'm focusing on AI technostress in the workplace. It's also why I wrote the song "Human Algorithm" (inspired by Bryan Kramer's post "The Human Algorithm"—https://bryankramer.substack.com/p/the-human-algorithm). https://suno.com/s/1Dzdny0O6jchDHFZ.

"I am the human algorithm.

More complex than any code;

Finding meaning in the chaos

On this technological road;

No machine can match the wonder

Of a soul that's wide awake;

I am the human algorithm

No one else can calculate"
